Festa di Sant’Efisio 2011, Cagliari 1 to 4 May. This pilgrimage takes place from the quarter of Stampace to the town of Nora in honour of Saint Efisio who saved the city of Cagliari from the plague. The procession is also a parade of the typical Sardinian costumes with people walking on a carpet of flowers.
