Cagliari is also famous in the word of travels for its beaches: even if the most known is the ‘Poetto’ beach you just cannot miss the ones found in its surroundings – Villasimius and Chia for instance.

If you are looking for less crowded-close to nature places just drive your car towards the archeological remains of Nora, Bithia and Barumini where you may find the most ancient and important ‘Nuraghe’ of the island.
